I've been there twice: the first time was in the southern part when a we saw several monasteries and castles [always wondered why all these big castles out in the middle of nowhere... protecting some sheep], drove on sunken roads and stayed at a B&B along the windy coast before taking a ferry top Ireland in the biggest storm of that winter [great fun]; the second time was along the northern coast which was a continuous mind blower of unsurpassed beauty [I didn't have a camera or my friends would have had to go on without me].
Looking at a pic like yours makes me dream of standing right there, take a deep deep breath, and with a bit distance to me there´s a drums and pipes band playin "Mull of kintyre". Uderstandable or crazy, what do you think? Great shot!
*sighs* Could sit on one of those rocks and not move! Breathtaking! Gorgeous blue tones,I like the hint of pink in the clouds,it adds just enough warmth to take the chill out.The water is so calm, not a whitecap in sight.Cool contrast to the rough rocky terrain it surrounds. It would be fun to explore those crevices in the rocks to see what's in them if anything!Stunning!
